EDP DESOPADEC, Olorogun Dr. Ebenezer Okorodudu Pays Condolence Visit to Family of Late Mr. Sunny Kotor

The Executive Director of Projects on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Olorogun Dr. Ebenezer Okorodudu, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Senior Special Assistant on Protocol to the Delta State Governor, Mr. Sunny Kotor, during a condolence visit to his family.

The visit, which took place at the deceased’s residence in Orhuwhorun on Saturday, March 21, 2026, was part of efforts to sympathize with the bereaved family and offer support during their time of grief.

Speaking during the visit, Olorogun Dr. Okorodudu described the death of Mr. Kotor as a painful and difficult loss. He noted that the deceased was a dedicated and committed public servant whose contributions to the state would not be forgotten. He further highlighted that Mr. Kotor possessed a rare God-given oratory gift which brought him into prominence, adding that he lived a purposeful and impactful life.

He emphasized that the late Kotor was an asset not only to himself and his family but also to his community and the Delta State Government. According to him, the deceased was blessed with a loving family and made meaningful contributions during his lifetime, leaving behind a legacy worthy of emulation.

Olorogun Dr. Okorodudu further stated that the loss was personal, describing Mr. Kotor as more than an associate but a brother and close friend whose absence would be deeply felt. He also commended his diligence, integrity, professionalism, and loyalty in service.

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed and asked God to grant the family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, urging them to take solace in the impactful life and legacy he left behind.
