Hon. Vincent Osilonya Receives Government and Internal Affairs Committee, an Arm of Community Leadership in Okpai Oluchi
The Government and Internal Affairs Committee of Okpai Oluchi Community, one of the arms of leadership in Okpai community, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Hon. Vincent Osilonya.
The group was led by the Committee Chairman, Mr. Freeborn Azuka. They were warmly received by the Council Boss Hon. Vincent and his team, which included Hon. Cecilia, Vice Chairman of the Council; Mr. Tunji Iyasele, Secretary Ndokwa East Local Government Council; Hon. Sunday Okwuwa Ezechi, Supervisory Councillor for Environment, Youth and Sports; Hon. Prince Okwokwo, Supervisor for Agriculture and Education; Hon. Stanley Okudo, Supervisor for Legal; and Comr. Ajie Chibuzor Stanley, Supervisor for Finance, Budget and Appropriation, alongside other
The purpose of the visit was to officially introduce the newly elected leadership of the Committee, from the Chairman down to other members. The group also used the opportunity to congratulate Hon. Vincent Osilonya on his electoral victory and his successful one year in office, they prayed for God to elevate him to greater heights.
In addition, the group appreciated the Council Chairman for approving the fencing of Okpai Oluchi Primary School, as well as for the distribution of exercise books to all 70 primary schools in Ndokwa East.
Furthermore, they presented some appeals, on behalf of Okpai community which includes
Provision of school desks
Deployment of teachers,
Equipping of the Okpai Health Centre,
And other community needs.
In his characteristic humble, God-fearing and gentle manner, Hon. Osilonya welcomed the body, gave approval for those matters that fall within the purview of the local government, while noting that others would be addressed as time and opportunity permit
