Igbe Ogume Community hands over Health Center to Government.

The Igbe Ogume Community in Ndokwa West Local Government of Delta State has built and handed over a Health Center to Ndokwa West Local Government Council . Receiving the Health Facility Hon Chief Sunday Enu , the Secretary to Local Government SLG who represented the Chairman Hon Obi Nzete thanked the Igbe Ogume Community for the health facility. He assured that the Ndokwa West Local Government will equip the health Center and send the required staff to manage the health facility. He further appealed to the Community to ensure the safety of equipment and health personnel to be deployed there.
In a welcome address , the CDC Chairman of Igbe Ogume Uncle Alaska Ekele thanked the Local Government Council Chairman for accepting the health facility and promising to equip and run the center built to boost Primary health care in the Community. He added that with the take of , the people in the Community will not be travelling out for their health care.
Speaking also at the ceremony Engr Chinedu Ossaiga the Project Representative of Niger Delta Support Programme Component Four NDSP4 said the Health Center Project is part of the Community Support Programme of the European Union designed to assist Communities by providing health Care based on the Communities needs assessment.
Highlights of the ceremony was the commissioning of the Igbe Ogume Health Center by Chief Sunday Enu.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Sunday Enu, SLG , Mrs Esther Okonkwor , the Head of Personnel Management HPM, Hon. Okus Ikogwe, Supervisor for Health, Mr. Kenneth Osamusali, Mr Godwin Uti and Mr Ejechi Odini Jnr.
Others are Engr Chinedu Ossaiga, CDC led by Uncle Alaska Ekele, Okwas and Inotus, Igbe Women, youths and Community Vigilantes. Also in attendance are Alhaji Ndenwa Godwin, Chief Cyprian Eboagu, Chief Gilbert Olie, Chief Monday Ojinika and Chief Benedict Eseagwu.
