DESOPADEC REITERATES COMMITMENT TO IMPACTFUL PROJECTS IN NDOKWA NATION — OLISA By Okoro Francisca

The Member representing Ndokwa ethnic nationality on the Governing Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, today 17th May, 2025 reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to impactful projects in Ndokwa nation, Delta State.

The Commission’s initiatives, upheld by Chairman, Olorogun Barr. John Nani and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Chief Festus Ochonogor are designed to align with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s “M.O.R.E Agenda” and President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda.”

Dr. Olisa made the remark during an inspection of the ongoing construction of a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) lodge at Akarai Obodo where he praised the contractor for the progress made so far, highlighting the project’s benefits for infrastructure development and youth empowerment and emphasizing that DESOPADEC is focused on driving development and improving lives in its mandate areas.

According to Dr. Olisa, the Commission has been delivering impressive projects in Ndokwa nation and this latest initiative is a testament to its commitment to making a positive impact.

The construction of the NYSC lodge is expected to provide a safe and conducive environment for corps members serving in the area as well as enhance their overall service experience.
