GOV. OBOREVWORI’S AIDE EMPOWERS NDOKWA YOUTHS THROUGH MUSICAL FESTIVAL By Chinedu Amede

A Senior Special Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oboeevwori on Youths Mobilization Hon. Kelvin RichMan has taken significant steps towards empowering the youths of Ndokwa Ethnic Nationality through the Ndokwa Youths. Music Festival held recently in Kwale. According to him, the initiative was aimed at providing valuable skills and training to young individuals, as a calculated effort to uplift the communities and provide opportunities for the youths’ growth and development through partnership with various businesses organizations, including J $ J Signature, Petcom Computers and Solar Services LTD, Bliss Beauty Saloon and Makeover, Kelvin Furniture and Abraham Photo and Media Kwale headquarters of Ndokwa West LGA.
Hon. Kelvin Richman stated that through this initiative, he demonstrated his commitment to supporting the youths of Ndokwa Nation in diverse ways by
facilitating training programs for young girls in hairstyling and makeup, young men and women in solar installation and computer repair, young women in beauty services, young men in furniture making, and a group of individuals in photography and videography. He also explained that these programs would not only offer the beneficiaries practical skills but also lead to their future employment opportunities and economic empowerment for self reliance and sustainence.
The Ndokwa Youths Music Festival garnered significant support and recognition, as he during the event, spoke on the importance of addressing the issues of cultism, violence, and drug abuse among the youths of Ndokwa Nation. Promoting peace, unity, and collaboration, aimed at orientating the youths towards a more positive and constructive path,as well as aligning with the broader M.O.R.E. agenda of the state governor. Describing the programme as a call and a reminder of the social challenges faced by the communities, and the need for collective efforts to overcome them. “The Ndokwa Youth Music Festival presents a valuable opportunity for young individuals to engage in skill-building activities, connect with industry professionals, and explore potential career paths by participating in the training programmes offered through the festival, participants can acquire new skills, gain valuable experiences, and broaden their horizons” he noted
