NNU 2025 GENERAL ELECTION POSTPONED By Chinedu Amede
The Chairman of Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU) Electoral Committee Ogbuiji Elvis Kaine has confirmed that the election earlier sheduled to hold on Saturday, February 8,2025 has been postponed indefinitely. According to him, the cancellation of the earlier date was to give room for recocilliation of crisis arising from pecieved irregularities relating to the proposed elections. Ogbuiji kaine in a WhatsApp chat told The Pointer in Kwale that “Yes, it is postponed and we will soon fix a date for a meeting to resolve burning issues”
It could be recalled that there were series of agitations from some quarters of Ndokwa Nation condemning the speculation of a Delta State Government’s anointed candidate for the post of President General. The speculation is currently blazing to the point of creating distrust among Ndokwa people, particularly Contestants and their supporters over the transparency and credibility of the elections. Meanwhile,about163 delegates are expected to partake in the proposed elections to be held on a date to be publicised later.
