Ned Nwoko is fighting too many battles, battles that may consume him politically

I have been long enough in Delta State politics from 2014 to date to know that my senior friend Ned do not have what it takes to win any election ALONE, as he is not a grassroot politician, even though he has a very lovable personality.

His records at home is not such a good one to write about especially with the way the family throne issue was handled by him. It took only the state government then under former Gov Ifeanyi Okowa for him to have his way. His marraige to Regina Daniel came timely to wash away some of those bad press. But when push comes to shove and with the way he’s fighting everybody, those bad press will hunt him again and even marraige to Genevieve Nnaji can’t wash it away.

It’s OK to fight Gov. Sheriff Oborowheri. To be fair to him, his first choice was Kingsley Otuaro for Governor. He never saw Sheriff as a governor material, hence his recent statement on Sheriff is not out of place. He only supported Sheriff when Okowa begged him to consider the zoning process and he just had to agree.

But fighting Peter Nwaoboshi will be his downfall. I have told him personally since last year when we were discussing his coming to APC that Nwaoboshi should be embraced by him. Truth is that Nwaoboshi going to jail was NEVER Ned Nwoko making but Okowa. Ned has no hands in it and Peter Nwaoboshi should know this. However the best way to go about it just to prove he had no hand in Nwaoboshi’s ordeal is not petition. No Policeman can arrest Nwaoboshi as it stands, so Ned should kill that idea and make peace for his own sake.

His going back to the Senate lies in Nwaoboshi hand and not his own campaign. In his own Aniocha zone, Okowa will cage him. It will take the combination of Nwaoboshi and Ochei for him to scale through.

He is not sure of even getting the APC ticket and he’s fighting those who will make it easy for him. I thought politics is a matter of interest and selfishness but it’s obvious Ned hates himself, so much that he will go into political election with Nwaoboshi against him.

When the chips are down, he will understand that politics is played at home and Abuja. At home, Nwaoboshi is grounded. In Abuja, Nwaoboshi is a rock that knows his way around more than Ned.

His main reason of coming to APC is because he was ostracised in PDP and it was because he was fighting Okowa and Sheriff. Will he now carry same fight to APC and not get same treatment?

Ned is a good man that just needs to calm down.

Okowa is a bad boy
