NNU Election– 2025 Publisher joins the race.

he Publisher of Delta Now Newspaper, Comrade Sir Cyprian Eboagu has joined the race to become the 1st Vice-President General of Ndokwa Neku Union, NNU. In a statement he stated that
“haven watched the unfolding events in our Union, Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU) and the need to have credible, capable, experienced and matured leaders with integrity to take the Union to higher levels envisioned by our founding elders, I Chief Sir Cyprian Eboagu, hereby present myself to serve Ndokwa Nation as 1st Vice – President General of NNU”.
His decision is informed by the need to rekindle the hope and trust handed to NNU by the good people of Ndokwa Nation several years back.
He was involved in the formation of NNU and has contributed to building and supporting the Union’s vision and mission for Ndokwa people; through quality inputs and service for the advancement of our Union.
He stated the he joined Ndokwa National Congress(NNC) at the formative stage of NNU and served as the Secretary/PRO of Ndokwa People Consultative Assembly NPCA, formed as Ndokwa policy makers (House of Assembly) which later was merged with Ndokwa Elders Council to produce Ndokwa National Union (NNU) before it was registered as Ndokwa Neku Union.
“It is worthy of note that my business office was the take-off office of the Union before a temporary Secretarial was acquired; where I helped with administrative work and publicity to make the Union known to the people.
I have served on the Union’s Electoral Committee two times, ensuring that power rotates among the three Local Governments Areas.
I have equally served in several NNU Conference Organizing Committees in the past 10 years, helping the executives achieve their set goals and objectives.”
“During the critical moment in the life of the Union, I was seconded to assist and work with the Hon. Dr. Ogelenya Tabowei led Care-taker Committee, to ensure a smooth transition from the outgoing Executive of the Union”
As the 1st Vice-President, my main responsibility will be to assist the President in giving the Union a direction with regards to achieving the goals of the Union. With my wealth of experience in the activities of the Union. I am adequately positioned to carry out this responsibility to take the Union and Ndokwa nation to greater heights.
